2025 Microphysiological Systems World Summit

In Vitro Models journal and Springer Nature are delighted to have provided sponsorship for the Early Career Investigators group of the International MPS Society

The  2025 Microphysiological Systems World Summit took place on June 9th until 13th, in Brussels. In Vitro Models, a member of Springer Nature’s journal portfolio focussing on the development and application of in vitro tools and methods, was delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to the first-ever 3-Minute Thesis (3MT) competition, organized by the Early Career Investigators Interest Group of the society and the Local Organizing Committee, in the context of the summit

According to Ana Mara-Boza, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Galway, Ireland, co-coordinator of the event and editorial board member of In Vitro Models, had the following quote:

It was a great success, and we had a lovely evening full of engaging presentations and networking. The quality of the talks was outstanding, and the event played a key role in fostering a sense of community among the society’s early-career members.

Out of 52 abstract submissions, 10 outstanding finalists were selected, and 3 cash prizes were awarded to the top presenters.

Some  of the photos of the event can be found below.

We look forward to the next World Summit, and wish the IMPSS all the success in future events!
