What is this collection about?
Ecosystems are increasingly affected by climate change, land-use transformation, habitat loss, environmental contamination, biological invasions and disease outbreaks. This Collection seeks studies that elucidate the mechanisms and general patterns of ecological resistance and resilience across scales and disturbance regimes. Editors welcome contributions that improve understanding of how ecological systems withstand or recover from perturbations and that can inform conservation, restoration and policy decisions.
