Special Issue Overview
This special issue aims to showcase cutting-edge research and technological advancements in the field of environmental catalysis, with a particular focus on innovative strategies to tackle the complex challenges posed by multiphase pollutants. As environmental concerns continue to escalate, the development of efficient catalytic systems for pollutant conversion and resource recovery has become increasingly critical.
We invite contributions that explore novel catalytic materials, mechanisms, and processes designed to address multiphase environmental contaminants. Submissions may include experimental studies, theoretical insights, and practical applications that advance the understanding and implementation of environmental catalysis.
Topics included in the Special Issue are:
- Catalytic conversion
 - Pollutant degradation
 - Multiphase environmental contaminants
 - Heterogeneous catalysis
 - Resource recovery from waste
 - Mechanistic studies (in situ/operando characterization)
 - Scale-up challenges
