Innate Immunity: Molecular Mechanisms, Diseases & Therapeutics convenes leading researchers and clinicians to examine how innate immunity detects danger, shapes adaptive immunity, and drives disease and therapeutic response. A central focus of the meeting is how innate sensors distinguish self from non-self molecular patterns, informing both agonist and antagonist drug development across inflammatory, neurodegenerative, cardiometabolic, and autoimmune diseases.
The program features joint plenary sessions, focused talks, and abstract-selected presentations highlighting advances in nucleic acid sensing pathways, including cGAS-STING. Mechanistic insights from biochemical and molecular studies are paired with discussions on translational challenges in drug discovery and clinical development.
Joint sessions on innate signaling in T cells emphasize crosstalk between innate and adaptive immunity, reflecting the meeting’s collaboration with a T-cell meeting. Panel discussions and poster sessions further explore species-specific pathway differences and emerging therapeutic strategies, including perspectives from industry and venture capital.
With dedicated career-development roundtables and opportunities for close interaction between trainees, early-career investigators, and established leaders, this meeting provides a highly collaborative forum for advancing both fundamental understanding and therapeutic innovation in innate immunology.

Attend in person, via livestream, or catch sessions on demand after the conclusion of the conference.
*Keystone Symposia Scholarships & Awards*
Keystone Symposia offers discounted registration to students in undergraduate, M.S., Ph.D., or M.D. programs, providing access to the latest scientific advances, technologies, and approaches to further research and careers.
In addition, several financial aid opportunities are also available to support attendance at its scientific meetings:
- Student and Postdoctoral Scholarships provide up to $1,200 to help defray travel, lodging, registration, and related costs when presenting a poster at an in-person conference. Awards are competitive, based on the abstract’s scientific quality and relevance, and you must apply by the individual scholarship deadline for the desired meeting (abstract + mentor letter required).
- Early-Career Travel Awards (ECITAs) support early-career investigators with funding to attend meetings; these also require application by the posted deadline for each conference.
- Global Health Travel Awards (GHTAs) provide financial aid for scientists, clinicians, fellows, and students from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) to participate in select Keystone Symposia meetings, especially those focused on global health topics. These awards may cover registration, lodging, airfare, and ground transportation, and applications are submitted through the Financial Aid Portal by the listed meeting deadlines. T cells are highly diverse and multifunctional components of the adaptive immune system, playing vital roles in health and disease, including inflammation, cancer, autoimmune disorders, and infections. This conference aims to foster collaboration between basic, translational, and clinical scientists from academia and industry, ensuring that cutting-edge discoveries in T cell biology and emerging technologies advance both fundamental research and clinical/therapeutic applications. Topics and meeting sessions include: (i) T cell differentiation, molecular programs, and the functional diversity of CD4+, CD8+, and gamma delta T cell differentiation, and unconventional (innate-like) T cells. (ii) the role of spatial instructions in controlling T cell function (iii) innovative approaches and technologies, such as advanced imaging, next-generation T cell engineering and (re)programming, and AI-driven methods for disease detection and treatment. Additionally, joint sessions with the Innate Immunity meeting will explore how innate immune pathways regulate T cell behavior under homeostatic and disease conditions, and how these pathways can be harnessed for therapeutic interventions. Trainees and Junior Faculty are encouraged to submit abstracts which will be selected for Short Talks and Spotlights Afternoon Sessions.
