Your opportunity to become a reviewer for Springer Nature!

Springer Nature’s Reviewer Communities offer an opportunity for researchers across all disciplines—from Humanities to Engineering, Social Sciences, and beyond—to collaborate, grow, and make an impact.

As part of our commitment to supporting researchers, many participants have shared how valuable their experience has been:

"The courses offered during the onboarding process were very educational."

"The boarding process was very smooth, and the executive from the journal guided the process.”

These insights reflect the care we take in ensuring a smooth and enriching start for every Trusted Reviewer.

As a Trusted Reviewer, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Review for leading journals in your field, shaping the future of research,
  • Gain recognition on Springer Nature platforms for your expertise,
  • Access exclusive benefits designed to support your career, including:
    • Free access to bespoke training courses

"It is a great opportunity, especially for young researchers who seek to become an independent researcher. It helps us to be more critic and broaden our insights."

Join a vibrant global community, enhance your career, and be recognized for your contributions. Just like the Research Communities, our Reviewer Boards celebrate and bring together teams interested in particular disciplines or fields - so you can find the right fit for your interests. You’re welcome to join multiple Communities to expand your impact.

"Participating in the peer-review process has been a rewarding experience for me, not only because it allows me to support the advancement of science but also because it has significantly enriched my own knowledge. Reviewing the manuscripts has broadened my perspective on topics beyond my immediate research area, providing valuable insights and inspiring new ideas."

Trusted Reviewers are selected based on their expertise, with applicants typically holding a PhD or MD (though you are welcome to apply if you are near completion of one) and at least some published research in their field. As a Trusted Reviewer, you’ll be part of a select group recognized by our editors for your training, reliability, and commitment to upholding rigorous peer review standards

"I deeply appreciate the recognition and resources Springer Nature provides to reviewers."

We deeply appreciate the dedication of our Trusted Reviewers—your expertise helps uphold research integrity, advance knowledge, and drive innovation across disciplines, ensuring that high-quality scholarship informs future discoveries and developments.
