Nature Water Talks: Water observing and monitoring

In our next episode of Nature Water Talks, we explore how observation, involving a combination of conventional and modern techniques that allow for knowledge on the dynamics of water quantity and quality, is the first step towards understanding water resources.

Water observing and monitoring, both ground-based and space-based, are essential for understanding the water cycle and managing water resources. In this webinar, Nature Water Senior Editor Yanhua Chen will talk to Nadya Vinogradova Shiffer (NASA) and Martin Briggs (USGS) about the challenges and opportunities using approaches such as satellite remote sensing and in-situ groundwater monitoring.
