Abstract
Achieving a sustainable industrial future requires transformative approaches that integrate resource-efficient manufacturing, clean energy systems, and technological innovation. As industries worldwide face growing pressure to reduce emissions while maintaining competitiveness, the convergence of sustainable manufacturing and energy efficiency has become a critical pathway toward advancing both SDG 7, (Affordable and Clean Energy), and SDG 12, (Responsible Consumption and Production).
This webinar brings together leading experts to explore how advances in manufacturing processes, renewable energy integration, digital technologies, and circular economy strategies can accelerate industrial decarbonization. Discussions will examine opportunities for improving energy performance across production systems, leveraging AI and data-driven solutions to optimize resource use, and creating more resilient and sustainable industrial value chains.
Through diverse perspectives spanning research, innovation, and real-world implementation, our panel of experts- **Natalia Hartono**, **Julian Hunt**, and **Daizhong Su** will highlight emerging trends, key challenges, and practical solutions for reducing industrial environmental impacts while supporting economic growth. Participants will gain insights into the role of clean energy technologies, circular production models, and cross-sector collaboration in shaping the next generation of sustainable industries.
Participants will gain insights into the role of advanced manufacturing technologies, lifecycle-based design, circular value chains, and clean energy infrastructure in enabling the transition toward net-zero industry. The session will highlight both technological innovations and practical implementation challenges, offering perspectives from across engineering, energy systems, and sustainability research.
