Dr. Rubén Medina has been selected as the distinguished winner of the 15th Functional Analysis Award in the year 2025.
I am pleased to announce that Dr. Rubén Medina, a former Ph.D. student of Professors Ginés López Pérez and Petr Hájek at Czech Technical University in Prague, is the recipient of the 15th Functional Analysis Award 2025.

This year the referee committee includes Professors Eva A. Gallardo Gutiérrez, Fritz Gesztesy, Gilles Godefroy, William B. Johnson, Victor Nistor, Adam Skalski, Ilya M. Spitkovsky, Dirk Werner, and myself. I also express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Pin Wu and her colleagues at Springer for their generous and continued sponsorship of this award over the years.
