Public Consultation on In Vitro Gametogenesis (IVG) and Stem Cell-Based Embryo Models (SCBEMs) by the Bioethics Advisory Committee (BAC) of Singapore is Needed

Given that such new assisted reproductive technologies would be needed only by a tiny fraction of local patients facing extremely difficult infertility problems, these will not significantly improve Singapore’s ultra-low fertility rate. R&D for reproductive aims could be a waste of public resources.
