Advanced Fermentation Technologies
Fermentation technology faces both opportunity and pressing scientific challenge. This special issue of Bioprocess and Biosystems Engineering advances the state of the art across the full spectrum of fermentation science. It aims to deepen understanding of microbial and metabolic mechanisms governing fermentation performance, and to explore innovative biotechnological and engineering strategies for process optimization.
