A microgravity flame on the tip of an acrylic rod illuminated with a green LED is repeated to create a colourful flower.  The hemispherical flame has a blue chemiluminescent outer halo with an orange sooty inner layer that blackens the molten tip of the rod due to thermophoresis.  Internal vapour bubbles are visible in the clear green region of the degrading rod.
