The Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) Archives have collated and made available the oral histories of many prominent molecular biologists. Scientists share their unique perspectives and discuss their ground breaking discoveries, many of which have been instrumental in laying the foundations for modern biology (and precision oncology) as we know it today.

This marvelous collection documents the history of molecular biology in the scientist’s own words and images and is truly inspiring. Over 174 scientists have been interviewed, with many available online.

Scientists interviewed include Bruce Alberts, Elizabeth Blackburn, Hans Clevers, Francis Collins, Renato Dulbecco, Tom Maniatis, J. Craig Venter, James. D. Watson and many more.
