Abstract

Please join the Graduate Programs in International Affairs, Observatory on Latin America, India China Institute, and the Heilbroner Center for Capitalism Studies for the launch of The Palgrave Handbook of International Affairs, edited by Sakiko Fukuda-Parr and Sean Jacobs.

The field of International Affairs (IA) – or Global Studies - remains deeply and pervasively rooted in the Western-centric view of the world. Researchers and practitioners must have a keen understanding of the political stakes leading to the growing call to decolonize the global order and the institutional, social, and ecological realities that shape them. This open access book offers an alternative way of thinking about contemporary problems and a framework for analysis that can inspire their future work as researchers or practitioners.

Introduction and moderated conversations with the editors, contributing authors, and comments from Jayati Ghosh, Sabelo Ndoluvu-Gatsheni, and Adom Getachew.
