The Minnesota Chemoprevention Consortium – MC2 was hosted at Mayo Clinic last week. Dr. Ke Yao, a Research Associate Professor in the Cellular & Molecular Biology lab at The Hormel Institute and Dr. Frank Ondrey of the Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota each presented research updates. The MC2 group meets quarterly to discuss the integration of agriculture and medicine as well as the development and delivery of cancer chemoprevention agents. Meetings include members of The Hormel Institute, Mayo Clinic, the Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota, and University of Minnesota’s Southern Research and Outreach Center in Waseca, MN.
