Research Catalyst Global Symposium (RCGS) 2026

The Research Catalyst Global Symposium (RCGS) 2026 is a virtual symposium for research students and early-career researchers, organised by NaviClar in collaboration with EURXESS and INYAS (with expected partnerships from EMBO and Taylor & Francis). The symposium is designed to connect young researchers with global scientists, offering a platform to present original research and receive direct feedback.
Who it is for: Master's and Integrated Master's students, PhD scholars, and early-career postdoctoral researchers.
Format: Participants will give virtual oral presentations and receive one-on-one feedback from mentors, network with peers and mentors from across the globe, and compete for awards. Selected abstracts will be published in the symposium booklet, and all participants will receive certificate of participation. The symposium also includes plenary talks and networking sessions focused on funding and career opportunities.
Mentors: Confirmed mentors are affiliated with institutions including Harvard Medical School, Brandeis University, Wake Forest University, Virginia Commonwealth University, the University of Dundee, IISc, NCBS-TIFR, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and QBiotics, among others.
Scientific themes:
- Biological Sciences (microbiology, neurobiology, cancer biology, human disease research)
- Plant Sciences and Agricultural Biotechnology
- Chemical Sciences and Green Chemistry (medicinal chemistry, chemical biology, drug discovery, molecular design)
- Interdisciplinary research in healthcare and biotechnology
