Abstract

Explore the powerful intersection of Artificial Intelligence and the Sustainable Development Goals and how AI-driven innovations can accelerate progress across sectors ranging from health and education to climate action and infrastructure. This session will highlight practical pathways for leveraging AI to advance multiple SDGs. The conversation will be led by two distinguished researchers: Florence Hudson, Executive Director of the Northeast Big Data Innovation Hub at Columbia University and Prof. Dr. Eng. Arthur G.O. Mutambara, Director at the University of Johannesburg’s Institute for the Future of Knowledge. Together, they will share insights, applications, and forward-looking perspectives past 2030 on how AI can guide us to a more sustainable and equitable future.
