Every year Digital Science, in partnership with Figshare and Springer Nature, conducts the largest survey of its kind to discover global attitudes towards open data. You can read the results of the 2019 survey here.

Now it’s your turn to have your say in the The State of Open Data 2020. If you are a researcher we want to hear from you, no matter your institution, discipline or location. This is your opportunity to shape the future of data sharing.

Take the survey

By way of thanks, we will be selecting five respondents at random after the survey closes on 23rd July 2020 to win a $100 gift card each. Every respondent will have the option to sign up to be automatically sent the report on the results as soon as it becomes available.

On behalf of everyone at Springer Nature, Digital Science and Figshare we want to thank anyone who has taken part in The State of Open Data Survey, in this or any year, for helping to shape the future of open data.

Join Paul Stokes, senior co-design manager of research data at JISC, for Better Research Through Better Data on Thursday 4th June at 3-4pm BST. In this interactive and virtual one-hour session tailored to researchers, you will discover the benefits of sharing research data, and how JISC can help you. There will also be an opportunity for you to have your research data questions answered.
