The Scientific Reports team is pleased to announce the most read* articles from 2022. Featuring authors from around the world and from research fields across the scope of the journal, these papers highlight valuable research from an international community.

The journal's overall top 100 can be found here. In 2022, many of the most-read articles related to basic, translational, or clinical studies in healthcare. To give you a taster, there were papers about the efficacy of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines, physiological symptoms of post-COVID-19 syndrome, and an investigation of the association between low-dose aspirin and bone mineral density, amongst many more.
