The Great Ocean Road walk is famous for its beautiful scenery along the coastline of Victoria, Australia. In October 2019, a group of hikers will trek its path for the National Fire Industry Association (NFIA) Patron’s Annual Walk for Charity. Their aim is to raise $100,000 to support brain research conducted by the University of Queensland's Queensland Brain Institute, and Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation. The work of both institutes contributes to over fifteen causes including cancer, Motor Neurone Disease (MND), dementia and mental health.
