Jing Wang is the Publisher for the Discover Journals at Springer Nature, where she supports academic publishing and journal development across a broad range of disciplines. 

Since joining Springer Nature in 2019, Jing has contributed to Scientific Reports and now leads the growth and community engagement of several Discover journals, spanning fields such as social sciences, medicine, life sciences, materials science, and environmental research. 

Jing holds a background in Food Science and Engineering, with further specialization in Biotechnology. Her academic research has explored topics from the composition analysis of walnut milk by-products to the molecular mechanisms underlying Bardet-Biedl syndrome. 

With over seven years of experience in STM publishing, Jing is committed to fostering a transparent, inclusive, and impactful publishing environment.
