I hold a PhD jointly awarded by Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and The University of Newcastle, Australia, under the Jointly Awarded Doctoral Degree Program.

RESEARCH FOCUS

My research focuses on understanding how multidrug-resistant bacteria in hospital environments are transmitted to humans and contribute to bacterial infections and chronic diseases. The overarching aim of my research is to explore and develop novel approaches that could serve as alternatives to traditional antibiotics.

My work particularly focuses on bacterial skin infections, including those caused by Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), for which effective therapeutic options remain limited.

Exploring the potential of probiotic bacteria for the eco-friendly and effective synthesis of nanoparticles as a promising alternative approach for biomedical applications.
