I am the Head of the Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and General University Hospital in Prague, and an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague. My research and teaching bridge biomedical informatics, healthcare cybersecurity, epidemiology and public health, with a focus on the secure and responsible use of health data.
