Global Senior Research leader: Professional drug hunter, and research and innovation champion with 25 years of managing scientific direction in multiple industries. A transformational leader with expertise and adaptability in the development of technology platforms. A proven track record of success (>50 publications, 17 patent and patent applications, >$60M in grants and RCAs) in multiple research organizations (Pharma, Biotech, Institutes, Government, and Academia) and served as an expert witness with successful outcomes. Global expertise and leadership in pharma/biotech, specialty chemicals, consumer care products and processes, food ingredients technologies, and development of strategic projects. Creative problem solver capable of fostering strategic internal and external relationships to achieve organizational goals including CRO’s management. My current research interests are in the development of new modalities and related platform technologies such as peptides and degraders but remain passionate about small molecules. I have successfully developed lead compounds in oncology against undruggable targets such as P53, KRAS, eIF4E, Bcl-2, Beta-catenin, TEAD, CyclinE, ERG, and others including the development of a peptide PET imaging diagnostic for Granzyme B and intranasal delivery of a Relaxin mimetic. My current ambition is to leverage my leadership and expertise across all aspects of R&D and operational roles such as business development to help organizations achieve excellence and foster the discovery and development of new therapeutic modalities that address unmet medical needs.
