About Dmytro Fedkov

I am one of the co-founders and Medical Director at Midaia GmbH, and my role involves working at the point where digital health, clinical research, and real-world evidence meet. The company offers a flexible digital platform which is used for the design and carrying out of real-world evidence studies, and this platform supports longitudinal data collection, patient-reported outcomes, patient engagement, and decentralised or hybrid research workflows.

I too hold the position of rheumatologist, researcher, and Associate Professor at the Bogomolets National Medical University in Kyiv, Ukraine.

The focus of my research is on rheumatoid arthritis and spondyloarthritis, and I am especially interested in digital monitoring, patient-reported outcomes, treatment adherence, lifestyle factors, pain, fatigue, and personalized patient support.

A large portion of my work involves investigating how digital technologies and data generated by patients over time can complement traditional clinical research, aid in the classification of patients, and produce meaningful real-world evidence for clinical use.

I am especially interested in working with academic, clinical, pharmaceutical, and research partners who are interested in digital health, the generation of real-world evidence, decentralized and hybrid studies, and innovative patient-focused research models.
