I am an evolutionary cell biologist and bioengineer exploring the interplay between chromosome evolution and cell division. My work combines cell biology, experimental evolution, and genomics to understand the constraints and drivers of centromere and karyotype evolution. I am passionate about understanding population-level evolutionary phenomena from an intracellular mechanistic framework.
