About Nicole Guinn

I am a PhD student at the University of Houston working on a Geosensing degree. My main research focus is volcanology, remote sensing, and natural hazard monitoring. My masters work analyzed the behavior of the pyroclastic density current from the 1980 Mount St. Helens eruption. My PhD work looks at diffuse degassing on Mt. Etna through vegetation indicators as well as landslide monitoring at Denali National Park and Preserve.
