About Reem Abou Assi
I am a pharmaceutical scientist and academic working across pharmaceutical technology, drug delivery, higher education, research governance, responsible innovation, and science-policy.
My research interests include pharmaceutical formulation and drug delivery, responsible AI and digital education, laboratory safety and resilience, sustainable development, research assessment, and early-career researcher capacity building. I am particularly interested in interdisciplinary research that connects scientific evidence with education, institutional practice, policy, and societal needs.
Alongside research and teaching, I contribute to initiatives focused on improving research environments, strengthening scientific capacity, advancing responsible and inclusive research practices, and supporting innovation in higher education.
