About Shu Chen
Research experience
My previous PhD researches focused on secreted oncogenic cytokines and BAD phosphorylation in cancer progression, and associated first-in-class small-molecule-inhibitor and combination treatment strategy development using novel in vivo generated tumor dormancy, brain/lung metastasis, or drug-resistant models.
Research interests
Model generation: In vivo mouse model or patient-derived model generation.
Therapeutic candidate identification: Mechanism investigation and biomarker identification in cancer progression.
Therapeutic strategy development: Pre-clinical and clinical research to develop novel treatment strategies.
I always aim at conducting researches exhibiting potential to add clinical benefits to cancer patients. That's where the value of all my endeavors ends up.
