Collection Overview
Scientific Reports has launched a Guest-Edited Collection on Motivation and burnout.
Motivation is important for setting and attaining objectives in life. It might be extrinsic or intrinsic, so that the inspiration either comes from external sources or the person itself. Lack of motivation is a key symptom of burnout, often expressed as physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion. Investigating the relationship between motivation and burnout is critical for preventing mental health disorders and promoting wellbeing.
This will be a Collection of original research papers and will be open for submissions from all authors – on the condition that the manuscripts fall within the scope of the Collection and of Scientific Reports more generally. We are welcoming submissions until 29th May 2026.
Why is this Collection important?
