Scientific Reports is pleased to announce the launch of the ‘2D materials: preparation, characterization and applications’ Collection, Guest Edited by our Editorial Board Member Prof I-Wen Peter Chen National Taitung University, Taiwan

This Collection assembles original Articles that present novel methods to enable the synthesis of a broad spectrum of 2D materials, and that characterise their physical and electronic properties. The applications of such materials is also explored.
