Collection Overview 

Scientific Reports has launched a Guest-Edited Collection on Podiatric medicine.

Podiatric medicine involves the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and lower limb. Not only is it essential for mobility and independence, but also for broader systemic health, particularly in those with diabetes and vascular diseases. Research in this field often focuses upon, but is not limited to, areas such as diabetic foot management, infection control, gait analysis, public health, and dermatological conditions.

This will be a Collection of original research papers  and will be open for submissions from all authors – on the condition that the manuscripts fall within the scope of the Collection and of Scientific Reports more generally. Narrative review articles are also welcomed, to our sister journal Scientific Reviews. We are welcoming submissions until 5th September 2026.
