Melting ice sheets and expanding seawater have driven a rise in sea levels during the Anthropocene. A new Guest Edited Collection at Scientific Reports features research on this topic.

The Sea level rise Collection invites studies on the causes, consequences, forecasting, and mitigation of rising sea levels.

The Collection is open for submissions of original research articles in this area until May 10th, 2023. For information on the submission process and our Guest Edited Collection policies, see our Calls for Papers page.

My background is in evolutionary biology, with a focus on sexual selection. I completed my PhD at Cornell University and a postdoc at the Technische Universität Dresden, in Germany, before joining Scientific Reports in 2021.
