Today is DNA Day, commemorating the discovery of the DNA double helix back in 1953, and marking the completion of the Human Genome Project in 2003.

To celebrate, we have put together a collection of leading articles and books from across a range of Springer Nature publications. There's also a quiz and the original Watson & Crick article and two other papers on DNA structure published in Nature on this day 65 years ago.

Please enjoy and share the collection. All articles are free to read until 20th May (open access articles are free to read at any time).
