The submission period for the International Functional Analysis Award 2025 has begun and will run from December 1 to December 31, 2024.
To encourage scholars to publish valuable articles, an annual award is given to individuals who have completed a PhD in any country worldwide within the last four years. These awards are granted to those who have jointly or solely authored excellent research articles in functional analysis, operator theory, and related topics.
The selection of awardee(s) is contingent upon the quality of a principal published or accepted research article and the presentation of up to four additional selected published or accepted research articles from each candidate. All introduced papers should include MSC46 or MSC47 (Primary or Secondary). The decision is made by an international panel of renowned mathematicians. The award comprises a certificate and a €200 book voucher from the Birkhäuser publishing house.
We welcome applications from individuals who have earned their Ph.D. after January 1, 2021, in any country. To apply, please provide only the following information (no recommendation letters are considered):
1. A PDF file of a primary published or accepted research article.
2. A list (in the format of https://mathscinet.ams.org/mrlookup) of up to four published research articles. Please do not send files of these articles.
3. The supervisor's name, university, and the graduation date.
