The Handbook of Interdisciplinary Gender Research provides a systematic overview of the current state of gender studies. By linking disciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches, it opens up diverse perspectives on the field. Contributions by gender scholars from a wide range of disciplines showcase the breadth of research and scholarship in this area. In doing so, the volume highlights the debates, analyses, and developments that characterize both German-speaking and international gender studies.
Das Handbuch bietet einen systematischen Überblick über den Stand der Geschlechterforschung. Disziplinäre und interdisziplinäre Zugänge werden verknüpft und vielfältige Sichtweisen auf das Forschungsfeld eröffnet. Die Beiträge der Geschlechterforscher_innen aus unterschiedlichen Fachdisziplinen spannen die Breite des Forschungs- und Wissenschaftsfeldes auf. Hierdurch werden die Debatten, Analysen und Entwicklungen der deutschsprachigen und internationalen Geschlechterforschung deutlich.

Ich verantworte bei Springer VS das soziologische sowie das deutschsprachige sozial- und kulturanthropologische Programm.

Schwerpunkte meiner Arbeit sind: Migrationsforschung Gender Studies, Kultur- und Stadtsoziologie bzw. -forschung, Politische Soziologie sowie Wirtschafts- und Arbeitssoziologie. In der letzten Zeit beschäftige ich mit zunehmend mit interdisziplinären und internationalen Schnittstellen – unsere gesellschaftlichen Herausforderungen erfordern einen Zugang der über die eigene fachliche Fokussierung hinausgeht.

Ich freue mich über Ideen für Monografien, Sammelbände, Essentials, Handbücher, Lehrbücher sowie  für Buchreihen.

I am responsible for the Sociology programme as well as the German-language Social and Cultural Anthropology programme at Springer VS.

My areas of focus include Migration Research, Gender Studies, Cultural and Urban Sociology and Research, Political Sociology, Sociology of Work and Economic Sociology. More recently, I have become increasingly engaged with interdisciplinary and international projects, as the challenges facing our societies require approaches that extend beyond the boundaries of disciplines and languages.

I welcome proposals for monographs, edited volumes, Essentials, handbooks, textbooks, and book series.
