At Communications Biology, our In-House team work in close collaboration with our Editorial Board Members - not only to ensure that all manuscripts are subject to the same editorial standards and journal policies, but also to receive constant feedback from the research community about the direction our journal should be going in.

Our journal cares deeply about diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and believes that good science is only possible when all voices are heard. Among the many ways in which we strive as a journal to keep DEI at the forefront of everything we do, we have now formed a DEI committee specifically for our Editorial Board. The committee will help to steer our DEI efforts and provide a voice from the perspective of active researchers.

I am excited to announce that the launch committee will include three of our Editorial Board Members, who are all passionate DEI advocates (L-R below); Sahba Besharati, Gabriela da Silva Xavier and Lim Theam Soon. Details will follow shortly on our website!
