Our excellent Editor-in-Chief (EiC) Professor Michel Chipot (University of Zürich), EiC of the Journal of Elliptic and Parabolic Equations (JEPE), was invited by the Chinese Premier Li Qiang to attend the 2025 Spring Festival Symposium, for his contributions to connections between the West and the East through mathematics. 

During the symposium, Premier Li Qiang extended New Year greetings to foreign experts, acknowledging their contributions to China's development and emphasising the importance of global communication and innovation through international cooperation.
