Abstract
The first of the three volumes of a collection of papers in honor of the sixtieth birthday of Jean-Yves Béziau will be presented.
The papers have been written by outstanding logicians, mathematicians, historians, and philosophers of logic, and they reflect the current state of the art in research on universal logic and its applications. The book covers a wide range of problems across various fields, including general logic, non-classical logic, the square and other geometrical figures of opposition, philosophy and history of logic, as well as the cultural patterns of thought and the rational or irrational features of love.
The volume offers insights that will be of interest to all students and researchers interested in the nature and future of logic.
