On Friday May 13, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy will be announcing their plans for supporting future work in understanding microbiome behavior and maintaining healthy microbial communities, both in hosts and and in diverse environmental ecosystems. This event will include John Holdren, the Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and Jo Handelsman, Associate Director for Science, White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, as well as other officials and leaders in fields related to microbiomes.

Time: 1:00-4:00 PM EDT

Where: Well, the White House, but for those of us without a White House press card, the event will be webcast live at www.whitehouse.gov/live
