We are very pleased to present the 100 most read* articles in Psychology at Scientific Reports from 2023. The list features articles and authors from around the world and highlights contributions in cognitive and clinical psychology, human behaviour, and more.

Dive deeper into the realm of cognitive research where our articles encompass a wide variety of topics. Some of the notable topics covered include unearthing the psychological benefits of exercising (outdoors); the link between mental health and individual personality; the association between cognitive ability and spreading misinformation online, and much more.  We also have articles which plunge into the neurological domain, highlighting how brain activity changes with caffeine intake or withdrawal, and another study looking at the effects of alcohol intoxication. These articles, along with the others in the list, demonstrate the depth and breadth of research into behaviour and the mind.

Congratulations to all the authors who have contributed to these valuable and insightful research papers.
