About Ry Young
Ry has been doing phage biology for 45 years, including 38 years as a faculty member at Texas A&M. In 2010, Ry became the first Director of the the Center for Phage Technology, created by the Texas A&M Board of Regents and jointly sponsored by Texas AgriLife Research and Texas A&M University. This resulted in four faculty hires over the next three years, to augment the existing core of faculty interested in phage biology. There are now seven groups in the CPT, and collaborators include multiple groups across the university and elsewhere. Google us!
