About Oliver Cocks
Oliver has a Bachelor degree in Biology with honors and a Masters by Research degree specialised in Behavioural Ecology and Reproductive Evolution, both from the University of Lincoln UK. Here he studied the effect of Life history evolution and female reproductive architecture on spermatozoa diversity across complex mating systems before moving to Syracuse, NY to continue his research by using integrative molecular approaches at the Center for Reproductive Evolution. In September 2018 he joined the BMC Series where he worked as a Senior Editor until October 2022 before starting a new role within the Submissions and Author Service team at Springer Nature.
