I am a senior researcher at the Soils, Water and Environment Research Institute (SWERI), Egypt, specializing in soil chemistry, salinity management, and sustainable agricultural practices in arid and semi-arid regions. With extensive expertise in drainage systems, soil fertility, climate change adaptation, and organic amendments, I contributed significantly to advancing knowledge on improving saline and waterlogged soils, particularly in the Nile Delta, authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, review papers, and extension manuals, focusing on innovative soil and water management strategies that integrate traditional knowledge with modern climate-smart technologies. In addition to his academic contributions,actively engaged in capacity building, agricultural extension, and policy-oriented research, supporting efforts to enhance food security and environmental sustainability in Egypt and beyond.
