About Alison Monroe

Alison is an editor with BMC Marine Science and BMC Genome Biology in the Philadelphia office. She completed her PhD at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia, studying the impacts of climate change on coral reefs. She then moved to Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi as a postdoc researching genomic applications in fisheries and aquaculture, including leading an assessment of the population size of Atlantic Red Snapper.
