About Alok Panda
Dr. Alok Kumar Panda is an interdisciplinary scientist specializing in biophysical chemistry, environmental biotechnology, and sustainable remediation technologies, with over a decade of research and teaching experience across premier institutions in India and the USA. His core research expertise spans protein structure–function relationships (particularly small heat shock proteins in tuberculosis and human diseases), biochar-based wastewater remediation, nanomaterials for environmental and biomedical applications, ethnomedicine, hydroponic agriculture, and sustainable bioprocesses. With more than 58 peer-reviewed publications, multiple granted and published patents, and active funding from national agencies such as ICMR, DST, and UGC, his work bridges fundamental molecular science with real-world sustainability challenges. Dr. Panda is also an editorial board member and reviewer for leading international journals, and a frequent invited speaker at scientific conferences.
