I am currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Biochemical Process Engineering in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering (SBN) at Luleå University of Technology (LTU), Sweden. I completed my PhD in 2017 at the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India.

Research Interests:

  • Bioprocess development and biochemical engineering
  • Microalgal and microbial biorefineries
  • Metabolic and genetic engineering (CRISPR, iOmics)
  • Waste valorization and wastewater treatment
  • Biofuels, bioenergy, and renewable chemicals
  • Nutraceuticals (DHA, squalene, microbial lipids)
  • Circular bioeconomy and sustainable resource recovery
