About Arda Yıldırım

I am a Professor of Animal Science at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, specializing in animal nutrition, poultry science, and feed technology. My research focuses on sustainable livestock production, alternative protein sources, phytogenic feed additives, and animal welfare.

I have served as an editorial board member and reviewer for several international journals, including PLOS ONE, Frontiers in Veterinary Science, and Veterinary and Animal Science. I have also contributed to EU COST Actions and national R&D projects in the fields of animal behavior, nutrition, and sustainable farming practices.

Passionate about advancing research and international collaboration, I actively mentor graduate students and engage in interdisciplinary projects that bridge nutrition, health, and environmental sustainability in animal agriculture.
