About Beatriz Marin Diaz
As a Molecular Cancer Biology Researcher within the BIMOCAN Research Group at the University of Extremadura, I have contributed to advancing our understanding of oncogenesis across various pathologies, including breast cancer, melanoma, and lung cancer. Our current research is specifically focused on liver cancer, with a specialized emphasis on the Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor (AhR) and its dual role in cellular homeostasis and malignancy. My recent work also explores the intersection of cellular senescence, reprogramming, and hepatic regeneration, aiming to uncover novel therapeutic pathways for liver diseases.
