About Bidyut Saha

Professor Bidyut Saha, FRSC (London), elder son of Haradhan Saha and Arati Saha, is an internationally recognized chemist listed among the World’s Top 2% Scientists (2023–2025) in Chemical Physics (Organic Chemistry) and ranked within the top 0.05% globally in hexavalent chromium chemistry (ScholarGPS 2024). He serves as Associate Editor of Chemistry Africa and as an Editorial Board Member of Research on Chemical Intermediates and the Vietnam Journal of Chemistry. He is a recipient of the Springer Nature Editor of Distinction Award (2025) and the Publons Top Peer Review Award (2019). Prof. Saha earned his PhD from Visva-Bharati University under the supervision of Professor Asim K. Das, and completed postdoctoral research at the University of British Columbia, Canada, under Professor Chris Orvig as a BOYSCAST Fellow.
