About Chau Thi Da
I began my career in 2000 at the Department of Agriculture and Rural Developmentof An Giang province as a technical adviser of aquaculture and fisheries management. Asa senior lecturer of aquaculture of An Giang University, I have taught students ofAquaculture Department of An Giang University over 18 years. I started to work for TonDuc Thang University February 2019 until now as a full-time researcher and lecturer.I have also taught a number of international short-courses of Bachelor studentsfrom Loyola University, USA (ENVS 281V: Humans and the Environment inContemporary Vietnam) and course of Master students (Aquaculture wetland ecosystemservices (AWESA)) in Can Tho University, Vietnam from 2016 until now.
I am a person who sees the worth of involving all employees in setting their team’s and their own goals and objectives, thus having the chance to share the achievements of their work. I am atrustworthy and diligent employee who seeks the opportunity to apply a wealth ofknowledge and experience to teaching and doing the international researches.Currently, I joined many excellent international academic networks from Sweden,UK, Germany, Australia, Japan, US, Thailand and Singapore to carrying out manyinternational projects collaboration in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam as following: RiceWetland ecosystem services (Sida, Sweden), water and aquatic management, recycledPangasius pond sediments as organic fertilizer for agriculture (Sida, Sweden), applyingnovel technology to treat and collect sludge and sediment of the intensive Pangasius pondsediments (Japan), Sustainable Intensification: Integrating Aquaculture into FoodSystems (UK), Contribute to the development of the Sustainable Aquaculture Plan for theMekong Delta towards climate resilience in accordance with Resolution 120/NQ-CP(GIZ, Germany), Vietnam Forest and Delta (USAID)
